Hall Orchard Pre-School Admissions

Children can attend for up to 5 terms before starting full time education. The number of terms will depend on your child’s date of birth.  Children are eligible to start at Hall Orchard Pre-School after their 3rd birthday.

All children within the setting are entitled to the Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE), which allows 15 hours per week of free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds. This equates to a maximum of 570 hours per year (38 weeks in an academic year).

You may be eligible for extended entitlement; this equates to 30 hours per week or a maximum of 1140 hours per year (38 weeks in an academic year). To be able to claim 30 hours of free childcare you must meet certain criteria.  To check your eligibility go to https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare.

If you wish to pay for sessions without using FEEE, the cost will be £14.70 per session.

Full day sessions have an additional charge of £2.45 per day (lunch time period).

Sessions

Morning session - 8.45am until 11.45am

Afternoon session - 12.15pm until 3.15pm

Lunch – 11.45am - 12.15pm

Full day – 8.45am until 3.15pm

We provide your child with a snack which consists of a piece of fruit and a drink of water or milk. Parents provide a nut free packed lunch.

What will my child need?

• A named drinks bottle.
• Spare clothes.
• A nut free packed lunch (full day session).
• Sun hat/sun cream.
• Nappies/pull ups and wipes (If not toilet trained)
