Grammar revision:

Understanding sentence structure (independent clauses);understanding and applying co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions to create compound and complex sentences; use of relative clauses to clarify/add information; use of adverbials and adverbial phrases; punctuating dialogue accurately and effectively.

Write an (emotive) narrative.

Rewriting the events of Chapter 1 as an ‘emotive’ narrative, culminating with the main character’s evacuation.

Invasion games – Hockey and football

Understand and demonstrate a range of controlled passing, receiving, striking, shooting and dribbling skills when kicking. Know and understand the positions they play in hockey and football and show specific attacking and defending skills. Describe the main strengths and weaknesses in an individual or team performance.
