Grammar revision: Understanding sentence structure (independent clauses);understanding and applying co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions to create compound and complex sentences; use of relative clauses to clarify/add information; use of adverbials and adverbial phrases; punctuating dialogue accurately and effectively. Write an (emotive) narrative. Rewriting the events of Chapter 1 as an ‘emotive’ narrative, culminating with the main character’s evacuation. |
